WhatsApp Web Compatibility Now Rolling Out For iPhone Users

WhatsApp Web allows you to send messages through WhatsApp via your desktop browser. The functionality is being rolled out in a phased manner, but will be very similar to how it works on an Android device. All users have to do is head to settings and hit the “WhatsApp Web” tab, then scan the QR code on the desktop browser.

WhatsApp Web, the service that allows you to send messages through WhatsApp via your desktop  browser in finally rolling out to users of the iPhone.

While the company has updated the list of supported devices to include the iPhone, it isn’t available across all regions just yet.

Reddit user vmax77 spotted the functionality to pair an iPhone to a desktop browser within the WhatsApp app on the iPhone.

Similar to the WhatsApp app on Android, all users have to do is go to settings and look for the “WhatsApp Web” option, following which the app will scan the QR code displayed on WhatsApp Web on the desktop browser.

WhatsApp Web launched for Android, Windows and BlackBerry users earlier this year and is finally coming to Apple device users.
