WhatsApp’s Broadcasting Feature Channels Rolled Out in Seven Additional Countries

  • WhatsApp has extended its Channels feature to seven more countries: Egypt, Chile, Malaysia, Morocco, Ukraine, Kenya, and Peru.
  • Initially launched in Singapore and Colombia, the feature allows users to follow various organizations for information updates.
  • Channels permits admins to broadcast text, photos, and videos to followers in a one-way communication model.
