WhatsApp’s New Snapchat-like Camera Features, Let’s You Draw on Photos and Videos

With the introduction of the new features, users will be able to write or draw on photos and videos, as well as add emoji, just like Snapchat.

When you capture a new photo or video or share one that’s already on your phone, you’ll automatically see the new editing tools, the new feature then allows you to add your favorite emoji or text, with options to change the color and font style. The features are so similar, that it’s hard to distinguish the new WhatsApp from Snapchat.

Not just that, the camera feature now supports the front-facing flash, so you can take pictures in low light and at night. Apart from these, there’s also zooming feature for recording videos where you just need to slide your fingers up and down to zoom in and out. WhatsApp says that the new camera features has started rolling out to Android devices while these will be available to iPhone users soon.
