Trello had raised only $10mn and is being acquired for $425mn, out of which $360mn is in cash. That’s one massive RoI for investors, founders and the entire team.
Trello had 1 million DAUs last year (19 million total registered users).
Trello didn’t launch too many features. They just kept the focus on core offering – i.e. team collaboration and focused on distribution / virality.
Why can’t more (Indian) startups be like Trello ? That is, not try to be everything for everyone, and instead keep developing on the core offering?
