WiFire : Automagically Connect To The Best Free Public Wi-Fi Locations Around You

  1. Hi Ashish, WiFire is not meant to access private networks that are not intended for public use. Only those networks that are explicitly added into our database as “public” networks are available to the WiFire community.

Also, many of the public WiFi hotspots are usually “open” wireless networks and are not password protected.

    Hope that helps!

  2. The onboarding experience needs a revisit. When I signup – i am asked to share my wifi details (if its a public one).

I think this wil happen only when I am *bought* in to the concept. So maybe a good idea to show a map of free public networks that are already active/confirmed in the city?

  3. Ashish,

I agree 100% with you – we got this from others as well. Our next version (coming out next week) is addressing this with a redesign.

    Thanks for your feedback!
