The software maker has already revealed that Windows 10 will be publicly launched in 190 countries and 111 languages this summer, but didn’t provide a more precise release date.
The revelation was made during AMD’s most recent earnings call, when Su stated that the the launch of Windows 10 could have an impact on the back-to-school season inventory build up.
While we’re not going to take AMD’s word for it, the company will definitely be readying hardware to take full advantage of the new OS in order to get as many PCs shipping as possible.
Microsoft will reveal more details about Windows 10 later this month at its Build conference, however it isn’t clear if the company will put out a specific launch date just yet.
