Windows Phone 7 is launched and while Microsoft has not yet added India to the list of countries where the device will be shipped, I am glad to announce that Microsoft will unveil the Windows Phone 7 in India at the UnPluggd event.

A complete ‘reboot’ of its mobile strategy, MS’s Windows Phone 7 boasts of interesting features/user experience, and most importantly, an app store which is open to developers to create free/paid apps.

Currently, app developers will have to pay $99 (for registration token), but then Indian app developers get this unique (and exclusive) opportunity – they get free tokens at UnPluggd event.
Actually, its not just Indian app developers – we are the first ones world wide to offer this to Windows phone 7 app developers – i.e. free registration tokens.
What are Registration Tokens?
- Tokens will allow a developer with access to AppHub registration and once you have the token, you can skip the credit card commerce flows and will directly register for AppHub.
- Once registered thru Token, you can submit free or paid apps to markets worldwide.
- Developers in India will get paid for applications they sell, like developers from other markets!
