Delhi based medical startup Wrig Nanosystems has raised Rs 15 crore in funding from Flipkart co-founders Sachin and Binny Bansal, Former Ranbaxy and Fortis promoters Malvinder and Shivinder Singh, Round Glass partners’ Gurpreet Singh amongst others.

Wrig Nanosystems, founded by Ambar Srivastava, specialises in miniaturising medical devices to perform tests that would otherwise be needed to done in labs.

Their current product, TrueHb Hemometer, is a mobile sized device that can measure the amount of haemoglobin in the bloodstream. It has been purchased by companies like Fortis and State Governments for their public health initiatives.

Srivastava plans to use the funds to further develop more products to cover a range of medical tests as well as marketing the device to new buyers.
