Online fashion retailer Yepme has secured funding from Helion Venture Partners, an existing investor in the company.
The company, which said it delivers close to 500,000 units every month to customers, is yet to confirm the deal and more details of the deal haven’t been disclosed yet.
Interesting to note that the company hasn’t talked about any new investors yet. The deal was first reported by VCCircle.
Last month, Yepme picked actor-director Farhaan Akhtar as their brand ambassador. Akthar wrote and sang a song called “Tension Kyon Lete Ho Yaar.” The idea is to target buyers between the age of 20-29.
The online retailer also started a new website called Yepmeworld, as a test marketing site for global buyers.
The Gurgaon headquartered company was founded by former Vivek Gaur, an IIT-IIM Alumni and formerly of Unilever, Sandeep Sharma, formerly of Accenture and Anand Jadhav, ex Pantaloon.
Here’s a look at the making of Yepme’s new anthem.
