Tech giant Google has announced an exclusive app version of YouTube for the Indian market to address the country’s slow internet connection.
YouTube Go offers a range of features that allows users to save videos for offline viewing, giving a preview of video quality and size, so you get an idea of what the video is about, and how much data it would consume. The app also allows local sharing option via Bluetooth with nearby users without using any data.
YouTube Go will support several local Indian languages, but there is no word from Google when the app will be launched. Users can sign up for early access at YouTubeGo.com/signup.
