Two days ago YouTube Leanback was announced, a simplified interface for watching videos on YouTube using only 6 keys on your PC keyboard.
A wonderful tool that eventually should appear on your TV set-top box allowing you to browse and watch YouTube videos using only your TV remote control. But in the meantime, you’ll have to wait and still be tethered to your keyboard when you watch YouTube videos.
Not really. If you have a Nintendo Wii remote and Bluetooth capability on your PC, built-in or via a dongle, then with the help of a free software program I created called WiiLeanback you can have a truly keyboard-free experience now.
NOTE: Wii Leanback will be available for download in a week or two, as soon as installation and configuration program for it is created.
Mind you, this software don’t need the Wii console, just the remote.
