Youtube launches Youtube Recharge, pre-paid plan in India

Youtube has partnered with Tata Docomo to launch ‘Video Plan’ for Docomo subscribers. The service, powered by Apalya allow Tata Docomo’s prepaid customers to watch online videos on YouTube and Apalya’s Live TV streaming service for as low as Rs 9 for 100 MB worth of videos (24 hours validity). Tata Teleservices & Docomo to Split

Japan’s NTT DoCoMo has decided to exit Tata Teleservices by selling its 26.5% stake in its telecom joint venture with the Tata Group through a pre-agreed put option. The agreement was signed between the two companies in 2008-09. [more]

Amazon India launches Tamil book store
