Delhi-based Zocalo Gets Funding From A Clutch Of Investors

Broker-free accommodation platform Zocalo has raised funding from a group of prominent investors.

The latest round of investment, raised a few months ago, comes from Co-founder of MakeMyTrip and TrulyMadly Sachin Bhatia, Founder of GSF Accelerator and InnerChef Rajesh Sawhney, Ex-MD of The Carlyle Group Mahesh Parasuraman, Advantedge Incubators  Udaan Angels and UK hedge fund partner Dheeraj Jain.

Delhi-based Zocalo started operations last year and is now present in Delhi-NCR and Mumbai areas. It helps users find accommodation in PGs, hostels and apartments without having to go through brokers. Its ‘Reviews & Rating’ system allows users to post their thoughts about the area in question and make an informed choice.
