Zomato is planning an integration with Uber in its mobile apps. The integration will be in the form of a button shown next to the restaurant address.
The button will show ETA estimate from Uber and tapping it would launch the Uber app if installed. It will allow users to quickly book a ride to the restaurant they like. One big problem (atleast in India) will be data quality, since not all restaurant locations are accurately mapped.
Apparently, this feature has been part of the app for a while but hasn’t been switched on. Uber has been getting a lot of negetive publicity lately and Zomato may be waiting for the controversy to blow over.
Here are some screenshots for comparison:

[Adds @ashish : This is interesting (assuming this integration will soon be announced). Now that Zomato has launched in US, integration with Uber is definitely a better move (as compared to integrating with local players).
The company will soon its cashless service in Dubai – an interesting strategy to enter peripherial services.]
