The service will enable users to receive a comprehensive list of deals and offers for Laptops, Mobiles, LCD TVs, Apparel, all Electronics and products from over 35 categories (that are supported by Open2Save), available in their city, on their mobile phones (right now, its available on wap only and the sms version will be out in a few days).
Once you find a deal of interest, click on “Call Me” and get connected automatically from their mobile to open2save Deal Experts.
This service is available on any Internet enabled phone, and works on any browser on the mobile phone. Users may also subscribe to similar deals by signing up for deals alerts (Zook launched alerts two weeks back). The two companies expect this partnership to launch mobile coupons, deal alert services and other extensions from this foundation in the next 12-18 months.
This is an interesting development as none of the local search players have a good comprehensive list of discounts/coupons etc and a targeted alert has far more conversion rate.
Muziboo launches Online Recorder
Muziboo has launched an Online Recorder which makes it easy to record music – all you have to do is plug in your microphone, allow access to your mic, click on record button and start recording. Once you are happy with your recording, click on Upload.
One can also embed the recorder on their blog or social networking profile.
Muziboo, so far has kept the song standard quite high and with this launch, they are far more open to ‘general public’ – and that will surely result in more traction, but a little degradation of quality.
And that surely means a testing time for the entire team as well as the Muziboo community.
