Changing a few things in your daily situation will have a positive impact on your productivity and general well-being.

Put up boundaries between home and work

Even if remote workers love to celebrate commute-less mornings, a commute even as short as 15 minutes is an effective way to transition from home mode to work mode.

The biggest benefits of unscheduling yourself:

  • You’ll work with more focus knowing that you’ll soon reach a scheduled break to recharge.
  • You’ll get more done in less time.
  • You won’t feel guilty about being away from work during your breaks.
  • You can see where your time is going.
