What does it mean

What does it mean to be a better version of yourself?

To perform your highest potential in all spheres of your life. It’s difficult to be perfect in all facets, so here are some tricks that will help you on the way to self-improvement.

Don’t improve all things

Don’t improve all things at once.

Ever wondered why you couldn’t finish a project, eat right and meet a friend as planned on the same day? It’s not because you’re not disciplined, it’s because you try to do more than you can.

Create a list of what you want to change and place the easiest issues first.

When you finish improving one aspect, only then can you  start the next step. The first steps are important, when you see the results of your efforts, it will inspire you to go further.

Don’t criticize others.Human beings

Don’t criticize others.

Human beings like to criticize each other. We judge and label people quickly, even if we don’t know them!

To become a better person, you should eliminate all negative energy. Negative thinking damages your self-esteem. If you want to lower negative thoughts, stop comparing yourself to others.

Do you need to

Do you need to stop procrastinating?

Procrastination isn’t always bad as it helps you to refocus.

Working all the time will make you lose interest and lead to burnout. But that doesn’t mean you should procrastinate all the time. If you’re working on a project, schedule an alarm every two hours and relax for about 15 minutes.

Don’t spend all your free time on unproductive activities, instead go for a walk, work out, or have a meal.

Don’t think your life

Don’t think your life will change immediately because you want to. The journey of self-improvement is really hard and demands your efforts because old habits die hard.

Don’t be afraid of challenges, it’s better to try and fail than never to try.

Don’t tell anybody about

Don’t tell anybody about your plans.

When you tell someone about your goal, you already feel partially satisfied because you start thinking that you’ve done some steps on the way towards your goal.

Another reason is that not all people are as positive as you want. Some of them will act like, “if I can’t have it, neither can you,” and can demotivate you. This phenomenon is known as the crab bucket theory.

Stop the negative self-talk.Sometimes,

Stop the negative self-talk.

Sometimes, it’s hard to change your habits, and you can feel that you’re going to give up. It’s not because you’re weak, but the way you think. When we receive a compliment about our work, we think, “Oh, that’s nothing.” This is the problem.

We are all inclined to think about ourselves only in a bad way. Silence your inner critic and start thinking that you can improve your life.
