In the seven months of FY19 operations at its first store in Hyderabad, Ikea has generated revenue of Rs 407 crore, although initial investments (in setting up distribution centers, infra, marketing) has resulted in a loss of Rs 685 crore in FY19.
FYI: Ikea in 7 months has generated same revenue as UrbanLadder and twice of Pepperfry, which started operations 7 years ago.
