Stop Clickbait is a Chrome extension, which identifies and notifies users of clickbait headlines. The users have the option to either block the content and in case of misclassified links, report it to help improve their classification.
It analyses a range of features in the headline, including sentence structure, and categorises the headline as “clickbait” or “non-clickbait.”
The extension currently only works on links on Facebook and Twitter.
