FYI: There are more Aadhaar cards in Delhi than the actual population.

Aadhar has hit the saturation level of 116% in Delhi and more than 100% in Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Telangana, Punjab and Chandigarh.

So either the population data is wrong or there are fake Aadhar cards in the system (data source)?
Clearly, one of the government department is working too fast or the other is working too slow (what’s your guess?) or maybe there are lot of people coming to Delhi for enrolling.
But for now, the data in front of your eyes tell just one thing – Aadhaar isn’t as sacrosanct as what it is promoted to be.
