Job Search App JobSenz Gets $40k Grant From Facebook

JobSenz has been selected by Facebook to be a part of FBStart, a global programme by the company that provides assistance to startups. As part of the programme, JobSenz has received $40,000 to build, grow, and monetize the application.

Founded in 2015, by Manipur-born, Monish Karam, Jobsenz helps users to search for employment, build their resumes and in preparing for exams. The app also includes a marketplace where coaching centers or educators can sell or share their course content directly to students or job-seekers. Jobsenz counts India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh as its primary market.

The startup will also receive mentoring from Facebook’s engineering teams, as part of the programme.
