The administration has directed that no statement or post which can hurt religious sentiments should be forwarded to any other group or person else legal action will be taken.
Ironically, Varanasi is the Lok Sabha constituency of PM Modi (read : how BJP used WhatsApp in UP elections) who has been a huge proponent of social media.
Imagine a new feature on WhatsApp which will allow group admins to moderate/approve posts – this entire thing is ridiculous to an extent words can’t describe.
