Amazon is said to be working out a plan to enter the offline business in India. It had acquired a stake in three different retail chains- Future Group, More and Shoppers Stop.
Amazon plans to start selling a wide range of products under its own private label “AmazonBasics” at all these three retailers. It is also said to be getting ready to scale up the sale of private apparel labels, Prowl, and Just F, which are selling through some Shoppers Stop stores.
Selling private fashion labels and grocery is next on Amazon’s list.
