At 180 km/hr, Talgo train sets Indian speed record

The Spanish-made train has clocked a speed of 180 km/hr in 38 minutes between Mathura and Palwal, beating the earlier train speed record of Gatiman Express at 160 km/hr between Delhi and Agra. The trial run was completed, keeping sandbags in place of passengers to check the train’s condition on turns.
