Airtel will bring iPhone4 to India in the coming months. The company has announced the details (vaguely) on its site:
bharti airtel will launch iPhone 4 in India in the coming months. iPhone 4 is the most innovative phone in the world, featuring Apple’s stunning Retina display, the highest resolution display ever built into a phone and FaceTime, which makes video calling a reality
Aircel too is launching iPhone4 in India.
Like we said earlier, Apple cannot afford to ignore the Indian market anymore. Launch of 3G service (though adoption will take time) opens up the right ecosystem for Apple to bring products in India (and not treat India as a dumping ground).

Update: Airtel now is taking pre-orders. This has been the most vague launch by Airtel/Aircel – i.e. with no clear dates/pricing details.
