Junglee will now allow merchants to sell goods on the platform. Amazon had been testing the service since last July and will launch it in the next few weeks. The company will provide pick, pack and delivery services for merchants. Mahendra Nerurkar, general manager at Junglee will lead the new initiative.

Ticketing portal BookMyShow has been named the official ticketing for the ICC World Twenty20 Championship. Google Partners has been launched in India. comScore says Junglee is the #1 shopping site in India.
Junglee’s growth in the last 30 days has been quite stellar in comparison to the other brands who all registered mid-low single digit growth rates. It’s not like Junglee’s growth has been sporadic either, it has been consistent week by week since it launched.
The acquisition is a combination of cash and equity. The founders of Letsbuy along with their 350+ team will continue to function independently, with the added advantage of now being able to access Flipkart’s superior technology platform and supply chain capabilities.
