Greaves Cotton led Ampere Motors had recently announced its plans to launch multiple battery powered scooters in India. The company has now announced that it will let the users buy these electric two-wheelers from Amazon.
The users can purchase the scooter online on Amazon and need to walk-in to the dealer outlet with the payment confirmation to pick up the vehicle. This facility is currently available in 10 cities – Theni, Thoothukudi, Udumalpet, Trichy, Moodabidri, Mangalore, Gopichettipalayam, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Karur & Ambur. The company plans to open this option for other cities too.
With this tie-up the company is looking for a seamless online purchasing solution and also wants the consumers to experience its offline dealerships.
